Connect an assistant

Instinct, Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok Bot can connect with a link and a sign-in. You do not paste a key. You choose the WhatsApp number and what the assistant may do.

  1. 1Copy the message below.
  2. 2Send that message to your assistant, or paste the URL into its connector settings.
  3. 3When it asks you to sign in, a Relay.chat page opens. Use the email on your account.
  4. 4Choose your WhatsApp number, and whether the assistant can only read or also send. Then tap Allow.
  5. 5You can disconnect it later from My account. The same limits still apply: no lists, and a cap on new conversations.

When you ask for the MCP link, use that URL. I will sign in and choose which WhatsApp number you can use.

Notes for each assistant

Claude

Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the MCP URL and sign in when asked.

ChatGPT

Add a custom MCP connector. When it asks you to sign in, use your Relay.chat email and pick the number.

Grok Bot

In the chat, paste “Add this MCP server:” and the URL. On grok.com/connectors (Business or Enterprise), add the same URL and sign in.
